Platforms & Risers

Standard Platforms

Being a custom shop, we have a multitude of platform sizes in stock.  Our standard platforms are 4’ x 8’, 4’ x 4’, and 2’ x 8’, all with black plywood tops.  Our platforms are certified to support load capacities of 150 pounds per square foot.  Optional accessories include skirting, carpet or marley, stairs, and handrail.

Custom Sizes and Shapes

Our rental inventory also includes the following pieces, available in limited quantities:  4’ x 6’, 2’ x 4’, 2’ x 2’, 3’ x 8’, 3’ x 6’, 3’ x 4’, 3’ x 3’, 1’ x 8’, 1’ x 4’, 1’ x 2’, and 1’ x 1’.  Triangle platforms in stock include 2’ x 2’, 3’ x 3’, 4’ x 4’, 4’ x 6’, and 4’ x 8’.  Round stages in stock include 3’, 4’, 6’, 8’, 12’, 16’, 24’, and 32’ diameter.  Most round stages split into halves, and some into quarter sections.  Our rental inventory includes some custom pieces to make the front profile of your stage curved – various sizes are available, ranging from 4’ wide to 48’ wide.

Frosted Plexi/Acrylic Top

We also carry the following platforms with frosted plexi/acrylic tops:  4’ x 4’, 4’ x 8’, 4’ round, 8’ round, 11’ 4” round, and one-half of a 24’ round.

Rolling Risers

Rolling Risers are available at the following heights:  12”, 16”, 18”, and 24”.  A limited quantity of 7”, 32”, 36” and 48” high rolling risers are also available in stock.

Leveling Suspension

Most platforms up to 32” high use 4 or 6 standard legs.  Over that height, our custom leveling suspension system is used.  The type of suspension you need depends on the height of your stage and where it will be located.  Our equipment can be set up over any type of surface or slope, indoors or outdoors, and can clear most obstacles, including stairs and theater seats.
